Matthew started his career as a time-served Toolmaker within the fast passed automotive industry and from there Matthew moved into the Aerospace industry working within numerous Tier 1 suppliers and technology integrators.

Matthew started work at AMRC Cymru in 2019 as the Workshop Manager where he was part of the initial team that set-up and started this new facility. As he was doing his role within the AMRC, Matthew has shown a passion for sustainability which has led to his new appointment as 鈥楥ymru Sustainability Lead鈥� where he will be looking to assist and lead on sustainability themed projects.

The majority of Matthews qualifications have come through 鈥榳ork-based鈥� learning where he has gained various NVQ鈥檚 up to level 4, this also including the newly established, Master Craftsperson qualification. Recently, Matthew has started studying towards a degree in 鈥楲ow Carbon Energy, Efficiency and Sustainability鈥� at Wrexham University.
