The aim of the conference was to bring together pioneers who are transforming research and innovation through community-driven approaches.
The conference agenda and activities was designed in line with The Young Foundation鈥檚 , created by their accountability group of community researchers, citizen scientists and peer researchers.
Beth participated in an afternoon panel 鈥淒riving change across sectors鈥 to explore how collective action can support community-driven R&I. The session brought together people working to break down barriers and foster enabling conditions for community-driven R&I across different institutions and sectors. The session was chaired by , Interim Co-Director of Research, The Young Foundation . The panellists included:

Beth spoke about the Co-Pro Futures - a two-year project (2024-2026) which aims to develop an action plan for the UK higher education sector to better support co-produced and participatory research. It is funded by Research England Participatory Research Funds at the Universities of Liverpool, Manchester and 葫芦影业.
