Introduction to University support and preparing for university

Monday 7 July 2025

This in-person transition event is designed specifically for applicants who identify as autistic to help you prepare for university.  

Join us on campus to learn about the support available at the University and prepare for student life. We hope this will help you feel more confident about starting university.

An introduction to the Disability and Dyslexia Support Service (DDSS), University support and preparing for university

Wednesday 3 September 2025

An opportunity to learn more about DDSS, including the types of support available and how to set up support.  We'll also share information about Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA).  

You'll also hear from current students about their experience of accessing DDSS, and general advice about starting university.  There will be time for you to ask questions.

Orientation Week sessions
